Meet My Girls
Last Modified: 3/1/08
I have learned through experience that my puppies always seem to share some part of my adults' personalities. With this being the case, I thought you might want to know more about the parents. Though every puppy is unique in look and temperament I often find myself saying, "His father does that too" or "She acts just like her mom!". My dogs are a great part of my life and I may see them differently than you so please keep in mind that, upon meeting my dogs, you may not agree with me. Granted, my opinion is heavily tainted with love and I admit this wholeheartedly so this is by no means a way for you to buy one of my puppies without meeting me, but I hope this will give you a window into what my puppies will become.

Belle is my oldest born 22 March 2001, in Mesa, Az. She is the daughter of my first breeding dog and marks my beginning when I started to realize just what I had gotten into and how very quickly this became who I am. I made many mistakes with Belle and she has taken every one with such grace. She is the one the others follow and the quietest of the bunch. She is the first to notice company and will quietly force her way into their laps, assured of her being wanted. She is 9 lbs and a pale Gold & White. She is very well behaved in all but one rule. She will not, under any circumstances, stay off the couch when someone is relaxing there. She will stubbornly jump back up once pushed off and when anyone is visiting that does not want her, we are forced to put her away. She is very trusting. She will allow the kids to hold her in any fashion as long as they are holding her and she loves to be held like an infant. I feel that Belle is the perfect example of patience and self- assurance. There will be only one more litter from this amazing dog which I expect sometime in 2009. I am praying this last litter wil contain her successor.

(More pictures of Autumn coming!)
|
Autumn was born 14 July 2004, in Farmington, New Mexico. She is 11 lbs and Gold & White. Her coat shading is a light strawberry which gives her very pretty highlights. Her mother is one of my retired adults, Annie Molasses. Autumn is still young yet and has a great amount of energy. She loves to play and is in high demand with all of my puppies and even Toto. One of her favorite games involves my couch and running. She will run the circle around my couch several times within the course of a minute and never gets dizzy. It never ceases to amaze me. She is also very sure of herself. When I am holding one dog she comes up to me with a look that says," I know you would rather hold me." She is also easily distracted; once she turns her head and sees something else she immediately forgets anything she originally wanted before. Autumn loves puppies, with a passion. Whenever I have puppies she is laying in front of the cage and waging her tail looking that them. She will stay that way for hours and will not budge until picked up. Once they are old enough to play she is the first to be there and after a short while they are trotting after her wherever she goes.

Sweetie is the first of my brood that is not related to one of the other girls. She was born 23 June 2006, in Williamson, Ga. She is solid Red, 11 lbs and obviously still a puppy to anyone who meets her. She is reckless and funny. She loves to play and will spend all her time doing so if someone else will join her. Her appetite for action is insatiable. When I first brought her home she refused to be held when there was so much for her to do. She was at every toy she can get her jaws on and if there was no toy, the nearest tail. With every passing day she has become more and more affectionate until she is happy playing until you pick her up. Then she is willing to stay and love on you, especially those who will give her a belly rub. She is a beautiful dog that draws attraction every where she goes and she loves the attention. When I have visitors she is the first to greet them and with much gusto. I don't believe she knows how to do anything by halves.

|
Hermione is my newest baby born 18 November 2006, and also born in Williamson, Ga. She is solid black and 9 lbs. Though she sits at a healthy weight, she is pretty skinny, so I am hoping she continues to gain. She has a personality to rival Sweetie and can, surprisingly, hold her own when they play. She has been the means of turning quiet and less active puppies into rolling balls of fur. Hermione was the joy that helped me through a difficult week when I had lost one of my 7 week old puppies. I had been searching for 6 years for her and she came when I least expected her and when I needed her the most. She is a little pig that eats to bulging and then runs around with her stomach filling like she ate rocks. At first she was very timid, but with energy and now she loves everyone and demands play. Whatever you do, do not expect her to come to you when called. She would much rather a game of chase and will get no closer than just out of reach. Should you be lucky enough to catch her, she will be happy to stay as long as you are petting her.
My hope is that the information I provide is helpful. If so please sign my Guestbook.
